Western States 100 Mile Run

A training diary leading to my first Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run (2007). I hope it helps you -- it's my way of giving a little something back to this great race.

READ THIS FIRST

This is my training diary for the 2007 Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, which was also my first 100 mile ultra. I recommend that you read the top post first ("Race Day Report") and then go to the first post (at the bottom) and read them in chronological order from bottom to top. It will take you a few days to absorb all the information here, but if you are an average runner like me, it will help you in many ways (particularly if it is your first WS100). I hope it will encourage you to run WS as you will have a life changing experience in the process.
